Chats occasionally stall or throw an error. Here are quick fixes you can try.

Stream Stopped Mid-Answer

  • Click Retry to resume the response.
  • If the model timed out, break your request into smaller pieces and send them one at a time.

Chat Not Responding

  • Stop the stream, then ask the assistant to continue from the last step.
  • Check your connection if you see repeated delays.

Avoiding Repeat Issues

  • Keep each chat focused on one problem or feature.
  • Reference the files you care about early so the assistant doesn’t chase the wrong context.
  • Start a new chat when the context bar fills up or you switch topics.
