You can keep several chats open at once, each with its own timeline and context. Treat them like browser tabs for your projects.
  • Every chat remembers its own messages, files, and follow-up tasks.
  • Switch between tabs when you move between features or clients.
  • Close a chat when you’re done to keep your workspace tidy.

Split Off a New Chat

When a conversation branches, spin up a fresh thread without losing what you already wrote.
  1. Hover over any assistant message.
  2. Click Split off to new chat.
  3. The new tab includes everything up to that point, so you can explore a different idea in parallel.
This is perfect for testing alternate fixes, running deeper reviews, or capturing feedback separately from the main build.

When Extra Chats Help

  • You juggle multiple features or clients at the same time.
  • You want to compare different solutions side-by-side.
  • You need a safe space to experiment while keeping the original thread intact.
  • You’re ready to archive finished work but keep active projects close at hand.
