Overview

Connect to PostHog through PostHog’s hosted MCP server and PostHog OAuth. The PostHog MCP server lets agents inspect analytics, query PostHog data, manage feature flags, and investigate errors through the official provider-hosted endpoint.

Open Integrations in the dashboard, choose PostHog, then select PostHog OAuth. The browser redirects to PostHog, the user approves access, and the returned OAuth credentials are stored for the connection. PostHog routes the hosted MCP connection to the correct US or EU data region based on the account that authorizes access.

Access Scope

This integration requests the PostHog MCP server’s read and write OAuth scopes so agents can use the full official MCP workflow. Review agent tool calls before approving changes that modify PostHog resources such as feature flags, dashboards, issues, surveys, or destinations.
